Migrating a V8i dataset and Rebar detailing project to a workspace and the output folders to a workset was a clean (and easy to explain) mapping of concepts to the CONNECT Edition. The resulting folder layout need not be the final layout.

When data files are duplicated in workspaces, these are candidates to move to the Organization level. Some possibilities are custom user shape catalogs, border DGNs, and partlist templates. Put the files in an Organization\ProStructures\ subfolder and add the related configuration variables to Organization\ProStructures\application.cfg.

Some possibilities are the Rebar Detailing project, specialized templates (.tpl files), and “last used” (.sve) files.
